How often should I clean my solar panels?
Most homes do well with a cleaning twice a year. Homes near dirt roads, construction, farm fields or lots of birds may need it more often.
Can I just hose my panels off?
A rinse can move loose dust, but caked-on dirt and bird droppings usually need a soft brush. Climbing on the roof with a hose is also a real safety risk.
